Foraging Workshop and Dining package at La Table des Jardins Sauvages
As an added bonus for our dining clientele, we will be offering a foraging workshop before dinner on Sunday nights (every two weeks) during the spring and summer (from May to July). Dates for 2013:
May 12 and 26th
June 9th and 30th
Starting at 4pm, this will consist of a short presentation and overview of Quebec wild edibles and what we do at Les Jardins Sauvages, followed by an outing with François to see what is good to eat out the back door. Two hours later, it’s cocktail hour, and dinner ensues at 7pm.
A five course meal of wild edibles and more, bring your own wine as usual.
Obviously, the variety of plants and mushrooms to be found and identified will depend on the date and on Mother Nature, but you are bound to discover a new thing or two! Never less than 15-20 varieties..
